Fraulein's Bakery was started by two childhood friends that grew up in Germany in June 2016 in Massachusetts. They use all organic, non GMO, fare trade ingredients, sourced locally if possible, to bring out the authentic and traditional flavors of Germany and Europe. All of their baked goods are handcrafted in small batches, bursting with distinct flavors. After speaking with the bakery owners, the key takeaways were to make sure the brand identity represents German baking while remaining modern and fresh. Additionally, since the bakery is a growing business, it was important that the logo still be simple enough to be made into a stamp for product packaging and labels for future bakery creations.  I created a round logo loosely inspired by a traditional linzer cookie and vintage German typography.
