Eczema Expo 2023

For the National Eczema Association’s Eczema Expo 2023, we built a full event identity around the theme of a classic family vacation. Held in Orlando, Florida, the four-day hybrid event brought together over 350 in-person attendees and 100 virtual participants for expert-led sessions, community building and all-ages activities. Our goal was to create an inclusive, uplifting atmosphere that matched the event’s heart: fun, connection and feeling at home in your own skin.

Visually, the identity leaned into bright colors, playful stock photography, and a series of custom-designed, sticker-inspired icons that gave the entire brand a casual, energetic feel. These visuals carried across everything from postcards and digital ads to on-site signage, merchandise and social media. We designed retro-style souvenir t-shirts, a themed postcard-writing station and branded materials for a wide range of event activities, including karaoke, pool parties and educational sessions.

Working within the constraints of a nonprofit budget, we focused on high-impact, cost-effective design choices that brought the theme to life without sacrificing accessibility or clarity. The result was a cohesive, joyful visual system that made the event feel special, welcoming and deeply memorable for the eczema community.
